The "What’s Goin’ Down" episode of "That’s My Mama"

^ What movie is that from? 😉

I’ve been lazy about blogging because of all the illness running rampant through our household for a full month. That really doesn’t give you a ton to talk about, except for cleaning up puke & snot. 😛 Poor Emma had strep, then the flu, then got a very painful UTI/bladder infection combo that caused her to pee blood for 5 days. She was on two rounds of antibiotics in 3 weeks, she was popping pills like a junkie. 😛

Now Scott is seriously sick again, and knowing our luck the past month, I’m sure the whole family will get this one too. Luckily this is very similar to something else he had a few months ago and had leftover meds from going to the doc. Did you know that Vicodin is an awesome cough supressant? That is what the doc prescribed him for a bad chest cough, and it works amazingly well! Plus the bonus buzz doesn’t seem to bother him. 😉 I have some kind of immunity to stuff like that, it doesn’t do a thing for me, neither with pain or a buzz. Most it will do is make me sick. Bummer.

OK, enough about sickness…here’s a house update!

Our final loan approval went through yesterday and is being faxed to the builder today. The real estate agent is in the process of setting up our color selection meeting right now. We will probably have the meeting tonight or tomorrow night. Seriously exciting stuff, about time we get to do some of the FUN part instead of just filling out papers! Then the final lot survey is ordered, which will take about a week before that is done, and then we break ground…WOOT!

I know this is a poor excuse for a blog entry, but I didn’t want to get out of the habit of doing it. I have to get off here because Reid is beating me in the head with a sippy cup wanting his fifth milk refill for the morning. He’s being a real piece of work today, UGH.
